On the federal budget and taxes, David Reich, Richard Kogan, and Katie Windham illustrated how President Biden’s budget provides a good starting point for fiscal year 2022 appropriations bills. We reiterated the importance of making the Child Tax Credit improvements permanent in upcoming recovery legislation.
