Press Call: Alarming Levels of Food Insecurity Among Children Require Immediate Federal Action
September 17, 2020
The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities will hold a conference call briefing for journalists on Thursday, September 17 at 12 p.m. (ET) to examine alarmingly high levels of food insecurity, particularly among children, due to the COVID-19 crisis and recession, and the need for Congress to extend the Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) program, which helps reduce food insecurity among children while schools are closed and is set to expire September 30.

How to Describe the Center

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities is a non-partisan research and policy institute which works at the federal and state levels on fiscal policy and public programs that affect low- and moderate-income families and individuals.
