Nanci Flores is the Senior Media Relations Manager on the Communications team. She previously worked with the Communications team as an intern in 2019. Flores helps plan and execute bilingual media strategies to promote the Center’s research and analysis. She fields press inquiries and conducts media outreach in English and Spanish. She also works closely with policy experts to develop messaging and provides journalists with the latest data and resources on a range of policy issues, including health care, housing and income security, immigration, and Puerto Rico policy.

Prior to rejoining the Center in 2020, Flores was the Communications Assistant at EMILYs List, where she helped elect pro-choice Democratic women candidates to office. In Arkansas, she served her hometown's legacy television station as a Production Intern and Fayetteville’s KNWA and Fox 24 as a Newsroom Intern.

Flores graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
