Nanci Flores is the Media Relations Manager on the Communications team. She previously worked with the Communications team as an intern in 2019. Flores helps plan and execute bilingual media strategies to promote the Center’s research and analysis. She fields press inquiries and conducts media outreach in English and Spanish. She also works closely with policy experts to develop messaging and provides journalists with the latest data and resources on a range of policy issues, including health care, housing and income security, and immigration policy.
Prior to rejoining the Center, Flores was the Communications Assistant at EMILYs List, where she helped elect pro-choice Democratic women candidates to office during the 2019 and 2020 campaign cycles. In Arkansas, she served her hometown's legacy television station as a Production Intern and Fayetteville’s KNWA and Fox 24 as a Newsroom Intern.
Flores graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
