Senior Policy Analyst
Hannah Katch joined the Center in 2016 as a Senior Policy Analyst. Prior to joining the Center she served as an administrator for the California Medicaid program, where she oversaw the state’s Medicaid managed care program, long-term care program, and a program for children with complex medical conditions. She played a key role in developing and implementing cross-cutting policies and programs for the state, including a demonstration to better coordinate care for people enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid, renewal of California’s section 1115 Medicaid waiver, and the development of a health homes program for patients with complex needs. She previously served as a senior health policy advisor and primary health care staffer for a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
She holds a Master of Public Policy in Health Policy from George Washington University, and she serves on the board of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington.
