Senior Policy Analyst
Katch joined the Center in 2016 as a Senior Policy Analyst. Prior to joining the Center she served as an administrator for the California Medicaid program, where she oversaw the state’s Medicaid managed care program, long-term care program, and a program for children with complex medical conditions. She played a key role in developing and implementing cross-cutting policies and programs for the state, including a demonstration to better coordinate care for people enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid, renewal of California’s section 1115 Medicaid waiver, and the development of a health homes program for patients with complex needs. She previously served as Senator Al Franken’s senior health policy advisor and primary health care staffer on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
She holds a Master of Public Policy in Health Policy from George Washington University, and she serves on the board of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington.
