This week at CBPP, we focused on federal taxes, food assistance, and the economy.
- On federal taxes, Chuck Marr and Samantha Jacoby noted how efforts to expand the Child Tax Credit shouldn’t be affected by budget gimmicks that mask the true cost of corporate tax breaks. We updated our backgrounder on the Child Tax Credit.
- On food assistance, we posted videos in English and Spanish underscoring the importance of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for fighting hunger and improving outcomes in health, education, and economic security.
