Areas of Expertise:

Neuberger, a Senior Fellow, works on nutrition assistance programs, focusing on WIC, school meals, and Summer EBT.

Since joining the Center in 2001, Neuberger has played a key role in designing and advancing policies to help low-income families feed their children. She draws on her deep knowledge of children’s nutrition assistance programs to provide analytic and technical assistance on how to facilitate participation by eligible individuals and strengthen program integrity. She works closely with other Center teams, federal and state agency partners, and national and state advocacy partners on policy development and implementation, as well as cross-program collaboration.

Previously she worked as an analyst at the White House Office of Management and Budget — where she focused on TANF, child care, child nutrition, WIC, and low-income tax credits — and on health and human services in the New York City mayor’s office. She holds a law degree from Yale University and a Master in Public Policy degree from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
