Luis Nuñez is a Research Associate on the Federal Fiscal Policy team. Previously, he completed an internship with the Center’s Data team. His personal experiences using the social safety net drive his passion for data-driven policy solutions for an inclusive economy. During his undergraduate studies, he spent two years at a Philadelphia hospitality union in various roles, including as a policy analyst intern, food disbursement coordinator, and database manager. He also conducted original research on the influence of unionization on state welfare expenditure and right-to-work legislation on per-capita union revenue through St. Joseph's University.
Nuñez holds a B.S. in Sociology, B.A. in Theology, and a M.S. in Public Policy from St. Joseph’s University.
