Luis Nuñez is a Research Analyst on the Food Assistance team. His personal experiences using economic security programs drive his passion for data-driven policy solutions for an inclusive economy. As a previous intern on the Data Analysis and Research team and Research Associate on the Federal Fiscal Policy team, Nuñez has supported the Center’s mission across a variety of policy areas. 

Prior to rejoining the Center, he was a Research Analyst for the National Domestic Workers Alliance, where he designed and analyzed surveys distributed to domestic workers and managed the data warehouse and pipeline. During his undergraduate studies, he spent two years working at a Philadelphia hospitality union in various roles, including as a policy analyst intern, food disbursement coordinator during the COVID-19 pandemic, and database manager.

Nuñez earned his B.S. in Sociology, B.A. in Theology, and M.S. in Public Policy from St. Joseph’s University.
