Inna Rubin joined the Center in June 2019 as the Health Projects Manager. In this role, she supports the Health Policy team’s work on state Medicaid policies and the Beyond the Basics project, which provides training and resources to support navigators, assisters, and others helping individuals enroll in coverage. Prior to joining the Center, Rubin was the Manager of Health Access Initiatives at United Way of Metro Chicago, where she oversaw United Way’s Navigator program and led the organization’s projects focused on health coverage access. Rubin also co-founded and chaired the Illinois Coalition for Health Access, which brought together a wide array of stakeholders to work towards advancing access to health coverage and care across the state. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she majored in political science and criminal justice.
