Remembering the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities in your will or trust is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give to sustain our work.

By planning a gift as part of your estate and financial plans, you help ensure the Center will continue to influence policies that improve the lives of poor and other low-income people for years to come.

It’s easy to do.  Here is some sample language for leaving a legacy to reduce poverty and inequality and to protect the social safety net.

“I [name], of [city, state ZIP], give, devise and bequeath the sum of $ ____________ or ___________ percent of my estate to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a charitable organization incorporated in the District of Columbia, with a current business address of 1275 First Street NE, Suite 1200 Washington, DC 20002 and a tax identification number of 52-1234565, for its unrestricted use and purpose.”

We encourage you to talk with your financial advisor or attorney to help choose a planned gift that best fits your financial goals.   If you have any questions about a gift to the Center, please email or call Deborah Harrod-McGirt.
