In Case You Missed It...

This week at CBPP, we focused on health care, poverty and inequality, and Social Security.

• On health care, Jesse Cross-Call marked Alaska becoming the 29^th state (plus the District of Columbia) to expand Medicaid as part of health reform.
• On poverty and inequality, we issued a new chart book on the accomplishments of the safety net, which Danilo Trisi highlighted.
• On Social Security, Kathleen Romig warned that a Disability Insurance benefit offset could harm beneficiaries and discourage work.
