Sofie Raiffa is the Network Philanthropic Engagement Specialist on the State Fiscal Policy team. She assists with coordinating the SPP National Funding Collaborative and ensures that institutional investments made in the network (by CBPP and the Collaborative) are well stewarded. As the author of the monthly newsletter Priority Mail, she tells the story of the SPP network’s impact. She also serves on the Center’s Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee.
Raiffa originally joined the Center in 2022 as a Program Assistant. In that role, she built deep personal and professional relationships across the State Priorities Partnership as both the primary coordinator of the Development Advisory Committee and the co-lead of the Antiracist Fundraising Cohort, which she helped to establish in 2023.
Before joining the Center, Raiffa worked for several nonprofits around Washington, D.C., including NFPRHA and Americans for Financial Reform. She also spent time as a paralegal, working one-on-one with clients at a disability advocacy firm. She holds a B.A. in Politics and Sociology from Mount Holyoke College.
