Rosie Hilmer is a Senior Communications Writer and Messaging Strategist with the Communications team. She helps to ensure that the Center’s work is communicated to public audiences clearly and accessibly. Rosie has more than ten years of experience running press operations on Capitol Hill and working on local, statewide, congressional, and presidential campaigns – including as Operations Director for Senator Barbara Boxer in 2010 and Michigan Press Secretary for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Throughout her career, Rosie has dedicated her personal advocacy efforts toward working with people from all political backgrounds to advance the fair and equal treatment of all Americans, including programs that support income equality.
