Nora Malone is a Senior Development Writer, focusing on communications about state fiscal policy and the work of the State Priorities Partnership. She researches, writes, and edits grant reports, proposals, and other communications that present funders with a big picture understanding of the state policy landscape and the successes of the State Priorities Partnership network.

Prior to joining the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Nora was managing editor of Social Service Review, a quarterly social policy and social welfare journal published by the University of Chicago Press. She has also worked as an editor and author of Catholic books and children’s books. She holds bachelor’s degrees in English and Russian from Carleton College and was the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship.
