Michelle Sánchez is the Network Engagement Manager on the State Fiscal Policy team. Prior to joining the Center, she worked in the Office of the Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy on the Communications Team. Recently, she served on the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions under Senator Patty Murray as a Staff Assistant to the committee directors and the Oversight and Investigations Team and has interned for the U.S. House Appropriations Committee. Sánchez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a concentration in Diplomacy and Security in Latin America and a minor in Spanish from the University of North Texas.
