John-Anthony Meza

John-Anthony Meza is the Vice President of People and Culture. He brings over 25 years of leadership experience in human resources, performance management, learning and development, total rewards, recruiting, and diversity, equity, and inclusion in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, often serving the social sector. He has served in human resources and operations leadership roles with the Raffa Companies, KABOOM!, the Community Health Accreditation Partner, Corporate Voices for Working Families, KPMG and, most recently with Arabella Advisors.

He spent the last three years leading people and operations for Arabella, a professional services firm that provides customizable services to clients in the philanthropic sector, including institutional and family foundations and nonprofit organizations.

He is a published author and has been a frequent presenter on progressive human resources topics. He also is a senior certified professional by the Society for Human Resource Management and has served on multiple nonprofit advisory boards.

A native of southern California, Meza studied Industrial/Organizational Psychology at California State University, Long Beach, and holds a degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, the largest Latino-serving institution in the CSU system.
