Isabella “Bea” Dresser is a Legislative Assistant on the Government Affairs team. Previously, she was a part of the 29th class of Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellows. As an Emerson Fellow, Bea provided SNAP application assistance at Maryland Hunger Solutions and then worked on the policy team at Feeding America to support state-level SNAP advocacy efforts. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she interned at the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Connecticut General Assembly. Her personal and professional experiences have culminated in a passion for anti-poverty advocacy.
Bea holds a B.A. in Political Science and Human Rights Studies from Trinity College.
