Di-Tu Dissassa is an Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Fellow at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

She brings practical experience in supporting the wellness and professional growth of diverse communities. With a proven track record of managing inclusive programs, training staff, and conducting qualitative research, Di-Tu helps organizations better support their members. Whether she is facilitating workshops on workplace wellness or coordinating success initiatives, her goal is to leverage her experience in restorative justice and community healing. She strives to ensure that every individual in the workplace feels a genuine sense of belonging and wellness.

Di-Tu earned her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and holds a master's degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). Her work is deeply rooted in equity and inclusion, including her time as a 2024 Fulbright Scholar in Pretoria, South Africa.
