Chris Prioleau is a Development Writer/Editor at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. Previously he was the Development and Communications Manager for NY Writers Coalition, a non-profit literary arts organization in Brooklyn. Chris holds a bachelor's degree in creative writing from University of California Santa Cruz and a master's degree in fiction writing from Columbia University, where he helped found Apogee Journal, a non-profit literary journal featuring art and literature that explores and challenges identity politics. As a writer, Chris is a 2018 Lighthouse Works fellow and has published short nonfiction in Apogee and The Awl, among others.
