Raheem Chaudhry is a Research Associate in the Income and Poverty Trends Division. Here, he supports teams across the Center by collecting, summarizing, and analyzing data and academic research.
Before joining the center, Chaudhry was a graduate student at the University of Texas, where he focused primarily on political conflict in the developing world. As a part of this experience, he spent time in Kathmandu working with a local non-governmental organization, researching trends in violence and human rights abuses in Nepal and helping the organization develop its capacity to analyze and visualize data.
Chaudhry holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland.
