Bernice Butler

Deputy Director of Network Learning and Collaboration

Bernice Butler is the Deputy Director of Network Learning and Collaboration with the Center’s State Fiscal Policy team. In this role, she develops and implements ways to identify and accelerate common learnings and best practices across the State Priorities Partnership and shares data that demonstrate the Partnership’s collective impact with the philanthropic community.

Previously, Bernice was Partnerships Manager at the Institute for Educational Leadership, where she managed relationships for more than 75 community school initiatives and facilitated monthly cross-network learning sessions, and connected local communities to national resources and partners. Before that, she worked in city government in Washington, D.C., Saginaw, Michigan, and Memphis, Tennessee.

Bernice holds a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from Georgia State University and an MPA from the University of Georgia.
