Fixing (the) Social Security (Graph)

A reader pointed out that the graphic in our recent post on the Social Security and Medicare trustees’ reports didn’t show up in all web browsers.

We’ve fixed the problem — and revised the Social Security pie to show that the program will still be able to pay 75 percent (not 77 percent) of scheduled benefits after the trust fund is depleted.  The corrected graph is below.
