Jakki is the Senior State Campaigns Manager on the State Fiscal Policy team. Hailing from Reno, NV, she is a community outreach, civic engagement, and political advocacy expert. Her organizing, activism, and movement-building strategies are primarily in racial, immigrant, and reproductive justice. She has spent her career developing leaders across the country to organize and transform policy at the local, state, and federal levels through the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, and class. Jakki is passionate about centering marginalized communities in harnessing collective power for liberation. Most recently, Jakki served as the Latinx Campaigns Manager at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she led a 25-state program for reproductive freedom. She is currently the board president of the Wild West Access Fund of Nevada, the state's largest abortion fund, where she supports people accessing abortion care.
