Erik Gartland is a Senior Research Analyst on the Housing and Income Security team. In this role, he supports the team with data analysis and research focused on housing hardship and federal rental assistance programs.
Prior to joining the Center, he was a Data Management Analyst at the Wisconsin Department of Justice, where he created a data catalog and designed effective data management policies. He also served as an AmeriCorps member with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, coordinating volunteers in building affordable homes for first-time homeowners.
Gartland holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from St. Olaf College and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Wisconsin.
