Will Fischer

Fischer joined the Center in July 2002. Fischer is a Senior Policy Analyst focusing on low-income housing policy, with a particular emphasis on the housing voucher program.

This analytic work has been cited in numerous media publications.

Before coming to the Center, he held a position as an analyst at Berkeley Policy Associates, where he worked on evaluations of state TANF programs and several U.S. Department of Labor workforce development initiatives.

Fischer also served as a policy analyst for welfare-to-work programs at the Alameda County Social Services Agency in Oakland.

Earlier, he worked on economic development and other issues at the International City/County Management Association.

Fischer holds a Master of Public Policy degree from UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy.
