Leigh Gibson

Director of State Network Advancement


Gibson is the Director of State Network Advancement.

Gibson began her career in the nonprofit sector at Isles, a Community Development Corporation in Trenton, NJ where she served in a variety of roles including Deputy Operations Director and Director of Research and Program Evaluation.  She was also Director of Development and Operations at New Jersey Policy Perspective, a member of the State Priorities Partnership. Most recently, Gibson served as Senior Program Officer at the Fund for New Jersey, a private grant making foundation dedicated to improving the quality of public policy decision-making on the most significant issues affecting the people of New Jersey and our region.

Gibson earned A.B., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees at Princeton University and an M.S.W. at Hunter College School of Social Work, City University of New York.
