We are in the process of preparing the 2005 "Make
TaxTime Pay" Community Outreach Kit to promote the Earned Income Credit and Child TaxCredit. It will be available in mid-December 2004. The kit will contain up-to-date fact sheets on the EIC and the Child TaxCredit, including new information on how workers with disabilities and families raising children with disabilities may take advantage of these credits. Helpful changes in rules affecting military families are also highlighted. As always, it will include promotional materials (posters, flyers, envelope stuffers) in English and Spanish, sample tax forms and a comprehensive guide full of ideas on how to run a successful outreach campaign to reach workers eligible for these valuable tax credits and how to link them to free tax filing assistance
The 2004 Outreach Kit may still be viewed at www.cbpp.org/eic2004/index.html. Orders for a free copy of the 2005 Kit may be sent to [email protected] or by calling 202-408-1080.
