One out of every four low-income children in the United States lives in an immigrant family.  The Center works to ensure that legal immigrants and children living in immigrant families have the same access as other Americans to public programs designed to help low-income working families. The Center also conducts research and analysis on the health and economic well-being of immigrants in the United States.
