Michelle Montgomery is the Conference and Trainings Manager on the State Fiscal Policy (SFP) team. She has more than 18 years of event and client management experience. On the SFP team, she leads all events and ensures they are planned efficiently and run smoothly for all parties involved. Because of her deep passion for equity in the workplace and relationship building, she serves on several equity-based committees at CBPP.

In her prior role as Events Assistant and Co-Coordinator of the State Policy Fellowship Program, Montgomery coordinated trainings, convenings, team retreats, and helped to build a portfolio of resources for the Events team.

Prior to joining the Center, Montgomery managed events and trainings at Fannie Mae’s Innovation Studio while providing analytical, design thinking, and project-oriented services to other teams within the organization.
