Jacob Kaufman-Waldron is a Communications Specialist who specializes in media relations. He works with the Center’s policy analysts and legislative and communications teams to respond to media inquiries. He also develops and executes strategies to release and promote the Center’s content with the media to shape the public debate around key policy issues affecting the lives of low- and middle-income Americans.
Kaufman-Waldron conducts media trainings with Center experts and organizes events and press calls promoting the Center’s work. He focuses specifically on the federal budget and taxes, health care, and housing policy.
Kaufman-Waldron first joined the Center in August 2015 as a Communications Intern. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
