Robin Metalitz brings more than 15 years of experience to her role as the Director of Foundation Giving at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. Previously, Robin was Director of Development at the National Immigration Forum, where she led all fundraising efforts across the Forum and successfully expanded the Forum’s funding in every area.
Robin founded Social Justice Fundraisers of D.C., a social network for development professionals who work in advocacy and grassroots organizing. She also ran Robin Metalitz Consulting, a firm dedicated to development, communications, strategic planning and capacity building. She has worked for and with nonprofits of all sizes on a wide variety of issues.
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, and raised in Takoma Park, Maryland, Robin graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature.
