Bernie Bergmann is State Data and Campaigns Senior Manager with the Center’s State Fiscal Policy team. Before coming to the Center, Bernie worked with state, local, and national campaigns and nonprofits to scale their organizing and technology infrastructure to run people-powered, data-driven outreach programs. Bernie ran the data program in Michigan for President Obama’s reelection campaign, managed data and targeting for multiple states with Enroll America and Win Justice, and built data tools and workflows at Civis Analytics. Before working in data management, Bernie was an organizer and manager of voter outreach programs in Ohio, Michigan, Arizona, and Illinois. Bernie has a BA in politics from Oberlin College.
