Manya Khan

Khan joined the Center in August 2007 as the Federal Budget Initiative Project Assistant. Her work involves federal budget and tax policy issues and focuses on outreach and education strategies that enable state policy organizations to engage in these important policy debates.

Prior to working at the Center, Manya worked as an Assistant Director/Field Manager for a fundraising campaign office in Chicago with Grassroots Campaigns Incorporated. Prior to that she worked as the Wisconsin State Coordinator for Rock the Vote.

Manya has a BS in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a MPA from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
