Danilo Trisi

Senior Research Analyst

Danilo Trisi is Senior Research Analyst in the Family Income Support Division. Since joining the Center in January 2007, his research has focused on poverty and income trends, labor market analyses, income inequality, the TANF program, and the effectiveness of the safety net. His research draws on national survey data, administrative data, and micro-simulation of tax and transfer programs. Trisi also provides support to many of the Center’s cross-cutting research projects such as the design of policies to help current food assistance recipients enroll in Medicaid.

Before joining the Center, Trisi worked as a Program Associate at USAction, providing research and field support for their federal budget and tax campaigns. He was also a researcher at the University of California, Berkeley’s Center for Labor Research and Education.

Trisi holds a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland’s School of Public Policy, a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. degree from Pomona College.
