Child Nutrition Associate
Becca Segal joined the Center in February 2014 as the Child Nutrition Associate. Her work focuses improving low-income children's access to school meals.
Prior to joining the Center, Segal worked at the City of New York Administration for Children's Services. At Children's Services, Segal conducted program evaluation and policy analysis on foster care services. She also worked for the City of New York's Office of Management and Budget in the Social Services Taskforce where her work primarily focused on managing the $1.3 billion portfolio of Child Welfare Programs and Seniors Meals. While in New York City, Segal volunteered with City Harvest for their nutrition education classes which utilized Cooking Matters curriculum and information.
Segal received a Master of Public Administration degree from Baruch College and Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and American Studies from Brandeis University.
