State Strategies Manager
Becca Segal is a State Strategies Manager with the State Fiscal Project at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. She provides support for State Priorities Partnership organizations’ outreach and engagement work.
Segal joined the Center in 2014 as the Child Nutrition Associate on the Food Assistance team. In that role, she focused on improving low-income children’s access to school meals with the Community Eligibility Provision. Prior to joining the Center, Segal worked at the City of New York Administration for Children’s Services, where she conducted program evaluation and policy analysis on foster care services. She also worked for the City of New York’s Office of Management and Budget in the Social Services Taskforce where her work primarily focused on managing the $1.3 billion portfolio of Child Welfare Programs and Seniors Meals.
Segal received a Master of Public Administration degree from Baruch College and Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and American Studies from Brandeis University.
