Kaufman joined the Center in September 2004 as a Web Communications Specialist.

Before coming to the Center, Kaufman worked at the Marine Mammal Commission where he was a member of their web production team.

Kaufman graduated from Towson University in May 2004 with a BS degree in Computer Information Systems.
