Mukul Chopra was hired as the Center’s first Chief Information Officer in January of 2012.
Prior to joining the Center, he led technology efforts in the non-profit arena for over 17 years. Most recently, he was Director of Information Technology for the National Association of Children’s Hospitals & Related Institutions (NACHRI).
He has been working with technology issues since 1985 and has worked on major technology projects for many large corporations including Freddie Mac and Verizon.
Chopra has a number of technology related certifications which include: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), PMP (Project Management Professional), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), MCP+I (Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet), CNE (Novell Certified Network Engineer), and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
He holds a BA from The Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technologies in Mumbai, India and a Masters Equivalent in Business and Hotel Management from Schloss Klessheim, Salzburger Unterrichtsanstalten fur FremdenVerkehrsBerufe in Salzburg, Austria. During his career, Chopra has lived and worked on three continents.
