Michael Castro
Castro joined the International Budget Partnership’s Open Budget Initiative in November 2010 and is based in Washington, DC. As a Program Officer he is responsible for doing research and data analysis, providing project management support and technical assistance to partners and in-country peer reviewers, as well as designing and delivering training modules and presentations on budget transparency with a focus on Latin America and Francophone Africa. Castro holds a BA in Political Science and Linguistics from the University of Rochester and a MA in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
